Koolato is an evenly balanced hybrid (50/50) that comes from a solid genetic lineup: Face on Fire x Girl Scout Cookies x Gelato #33. That combination alone should tell you this isn’t some throwaway cross. It’s flavorful, refined, and incredibly well-rounded.

The effects are what really make Koolato Kool! The high starts with a nice lift —nothing racy, nothing overwhelming. It clears out mental clutter and replaces it with a sharp, focused calm. As that settles in, a light body tingle follows, and I really felt tingles lol. Then it brings on a relaxed, happy state without dragging you down or gluing you to the couch.

This is one of those strains where the euphoria stays clean the entire time. No anxiety, no paranoia—just a smooth, steady ride that works equally well during the day or into the evening. It’s balanced enough to stay functional, but strong enough that you definitely know you’re smoking something legit.

Flavor-wise, Koolato checks all the boxes. It’s fruity and floral up front, with a lightly sour citrus exhale with herbal notes lingering on the back end. The aroma follows suit—sweet citrus and soft florals with a mellow, earthy undertone that isn’t loud or offensive.

Visually, it’s exactly what I look for: dense, green buds with purple accents, bright orange hairs, and a thick coating of chunky white trichomes. When I can get the temperature down in the grow room during lights out the last week or so I can usually bring out more purple. Depending on what room they're grown in determines how cool I can get the night time temps. Cooler temps trigger a hormone called anthocyanins. The same hormone that turns the fall leaves different colors! There are some other triggers as well but cooler temperatures are the best for colors, especially purple.
